Product Overview
The DCA Vantage™ Microalbumin/Creatinine Reagent Cartridge is used to measure low levels of albumin (microalbuminuria), creatinine, and the albumin/creatinine ratio in urine. It is meant to be used with the DCA Vantage™ Analyzer.
This method can be used with random, overnight, or timed urine samples, and provides results within seven minutes. It is recommended for testing microalbuminuria in patients with both insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent diabetes.
This test helps detect early kidney disease in patients. It measures albumin, creatinine, and the albumin-to-creatinine ratio in urine, providing a quantitative measurement of protein status with automatic creatinine adjustment.
The onboard GFR (glomerular filtration rate) calculator also helps assess kidney function.
