IPOL® Poliovirus Vaccine Inactivated (IPV) is a sterile, preservative-free vaccine used for active immunization against poliomyelitis caused by poliovirus types 1, 2, and 3. Each 0.5 mL dose contains 40 units of Type 1, 8 units of Type 2, and 32 units of Type 3 poliovirus antigens. Formulated from inactivated virus grown in Vero cell cultures, IPOL is indicated for use in individuals 6 weeks of age and older, following the CDC-recommended immunization schedule. Supplied as a multi-dose vial (MDV) containing 10 doses (5 mL total), IPOL is ideal for pediatric clinics, vaccination programs, and healthcare providers.
