Product Overview

The ViraDx™ SARS-CoV-2/Flu A+B Rapid Antigen Test is a medical test that aims to quickly and accurately detect and differentiate between the antigens of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B viruses. It is designed to be used with nasal or nasopharyngeal swab specimens collected from individuals who are suspected of having a respiratory viral infection consistent with COVID-19, as advised by their healthcare provider. This test is most effective when conducted within the first five days of the onset of symptoms and should be performed at least twice over three days, with a minimum gap of 48 hours between tests. It is important to note that the symptoms of respiratory viral infections caused by SARS-CoV-2 and influenza can be similar, hence this test helps the healthcare provider in differentiating between the two.
