The Coag-Sense® PT2 PT/INR Self-Test Monitoring System is designed for trained patients or caregivers to monitor prothrombin time while receiving warfarin anticoagulation therapy under a physician’s direction. Using fresh capillary whole blood, the portable meter directly detects clot formation and reports results in PT seconds and INR units in less than one minute. The system features a color touchscreen, rechargeable battery, and multiple connectivity options.
