Product Overview

Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic local anesthetic solution formulated for parenteral administration. Each 50 mL multi-dose vial contains lidocaine hydrochloride at a concentration of 2% (20 mg/mL), providing 1,000 mg per vial. Lidocaine is an amide-type local anesthetic that works by inhibiting the ionic fluxes required for the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses.

This multi-dose presentation contains 0.1% methylparaben as a preservative and is supplied in a plastic fliptop vial. It is intended for local or regional anesthesia using infiltration and peripheral nerve block techniques. The product is supplied as 25 vials per tray and should be stored at controlled room temperature. Rx only.
