Quadracel® is a combination vaccine indicated for active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (DTaP), and poliovirus (IPV) in children ages 4 through 6 years as a fifth dose in the DTaP series and a fourth or fifth dose in the IPV series. Each 0.5 mL dose contains 15 Lf diphtheria toxoid, 5 Lf tetanus toxoid, 20 mcg of pertussis antigens, and 62 D-antigen units of poliovirus types 1, 2, and 3. This preservative-free vaccine is supplied in single-dose vials (SDV) and comes in a box of 10, streamlining vaccination schedules while reducing the number of required injections.
