The QuickVue+ Strep A Test detects group A streptococcal antigen directly from throat swabs and beta-hemolytic colonies on blood agar plates. Two reagent extractions and a clearly distinct +/- endpoint. To let you know the test can be read, a Test Complete indication displays. The test has an overall accuracy of 98%, a sensitivity of 95%, and a specificity of 98%. Positive and negative external controls are included in the package, which may be stored at room temperature.
